At Westwood Dental our entire team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and infection control. We follow all guidelines recommended by leading federal agencies, including the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Our protocols include the use of disinfectant hand soap, gloves, and face masks; thorough chemical disinfection of all counter tops and treatment surfaces; sterilization of every instrument prior to use; and the use of disposable materials whenever appropriate. All reusable equipment, including dental headpieces, are sterilized in an autoclave, which eliminates bacteria, spores and viruses through high pressure steam and heat.
